The High Country Association of REALTORS® has been an organized membership since 1971 and we are proud to serve the counties of Alleghany, Ashe, Avery and Watauga located in the High Country of Northwestern North Carolina. HCAR unites Realtors® who are  providing real estate services to clients throughout the Blue Ridge region. The Association is dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in the industry and is committed to maintaining a high level of ethical business practice. Our warm and welcoming staff are eager to assist our members in growing and leading our communities.

You must submit an HCAR Application for REALTOR® along with a $325.00 application fee and REALTOR® dues, which will vary depending on your membership type and date of application.
